Wandering Man

I saw him again today. Looming outside my home through the woods. It has now been a month and several days since I laid eyes on the wandering spirit of Ebony in my yard. I have found through my research that his name is Pica but that is all - as he doesn't seem to speak. I wait with bated breath to someday hear words come from his lips but alas- He does not notice me, let alone talk to me. From what I can surmise he is a lowly vagabond but there must be more to him. I can just tell by looking at him that he is endlessly complex and fantastical. He has this mystery about him that I just am DYING to hear about. No matter how hard I try or how many poems I read to him- by the time I am done he is just gone. He leaves as soon as he comes and I am truly struggling to keep up with him........

Good thing hes sleeping or I wouldn't even have time to write this... I need to get research for my romantic novel and poems..... He is now my muse and I think that I may be falling in love with him.

I just wish for one moment he would stop and look longingly into my eyes like I know he wants to. He must be shy.
